ALIX LONDON was created to bring unique, luxurious and modern wedding wear to brides looking for an alternative to conventional bridal.
"Finding a wedding outfit is about finding a way to translate your personal style into something beyond the bridal archetype. In creating the collection, I kept honing in on what women wear and feel themselves in. I wanted to create a new kind of wedding wardrobe: something sophisticated, luxe and a little unexpected," says Alix, designer behind ALIX LONDON.
At the same time, weddings have become curated, multi-day events. The wedding wardrobe has evolved and expanded so the collection was designed with the whole wedding weekend in mind. Versatile pieces that transform looks from day to night, playful minis and sharp tailored separates take brides from the rehearsal dinner to the reception.
THE CRAFT
Although trained in Italy, Alix is inspired by the legacy of British fashion. Supporting the revival of local, artisanal production in London, ALIX LONDON offers women exquisitely made, impeccably fitting dresses.
Every piece is crafted by hand in London, made by small ateliers with long experience serving the city’s top fashion houses. Makers are paid a living wage and everything is made less than five miles from London's centre. Using only the most luxurious fabrics, beautiful hand finishing and couture techniques on every garment, ALIX LONDON proudly draws on the capital’s rich fashion heritage.
